Algeria eyes changes to tax on foreign oil cvompanies

Determined to secure new exploration projects and to meet the country’s natural gas export targets over the coming years, Algeria’s Energy Minister Youcef Yousfi has recently announced details of plans to modify the current provisions pertaining to the taxation of the projects of foreign oil companies. 


Algeria coastal project to receive European funds

 The European Commission has approved 34 million euros to protect Algeria's coastal region, it was officially reported. The funds aim to tackle the impact of climate change, urbanisation and economic activities on coastal resources.
